Join us for the opening of the "Proximity/ Proximidad" exhibition.

  • Exhibition Opens at 6:00 p.m.
  • Performances start at 6:45 p.m.

Over the course of 9 years, WorkersTEATRO has created supportive spaces for working people to gather, share their experiences, seek support, and advocate for one another.

Through stories, tears, laughter, and comunidad (community), WorkersTEATRO has built scenes, performed all over the country, taught workshops, and listened to its community.

Come see the highlights!

  • $75.00: Believe in the Cause, Sustainers help WorkersTEATRO to dream forward
  • $40.00: Make it Happen, Helpers making it happen
  • $20.00: Celebrate the Work, Celebrants lifting WorkersTEATRO up

The ticket prices support WorkersTEATRO today and into the future. As a local collective, WorkersTEATRO does not generate money by selling anything and is not run by a board of directors. Working people come together to support each other, to advocate for workers' rights together, and collectively make decisions. Help from the community is necessary to do this work.

Even if you can't make the event, please purchase a ticket to support WorkersTEATRO. ¡Gracias! Con Cariño - Collectivo WorkersTEATRO

More About...

EXHIBITION: Proximity/ Proximidad
  • How close are you to the harm? How close are you to the care?
  • What is your proximity to the violence that workers experience daily?

Workers across America experience harm on factory floors, as street vendors, and as domestic care workers. Unsafe work conditions, wage theft, and abuse are real and happen every day.

ARTIFACTS OF THE JOURNEY: On display will be the fruits of their labor, worker tools used every day, photos, scripts, video, audio, publications, and props used to tell the stories.
