A Vision for Just Us: Changing the Narrative will feature the voices of survivors of the carceral system.

The purpose of this event is to shift public perception of returning citizens and justice-impacted people by replacing stigma with humanizing stories presented through individual artist spotlights and to promote healing and belonging through trauma-informed, respectful spaces where returning citizens and community members are recognized as co-creators of narrative change.
