Lynne Chambers lives and works in one of the most economically disadvantaged regions in the United States, where poverty impacts not only financial stability but also the mind, body, and spirit. Through her work, she has come to understand that lack of resources and opportunities can stifle personal growth, limit potential, and weaken community resilience.

Her mission is to create pathways for growth and empowerment, ensuring that individuals have access to the resources, skills, and support needed to thrive.

Since 2017, Envisioning Justice has created free public arts and humanities programs in partnership with communities and people affected by the carceral system and provided grant funding for individuals, nonprofits, and collectives. 

The program's mission is to examine and reimagine the criminal legal system through the arts and humanities. Together, we leverage the arts and humanities to examine mass incarceration and collectively shape a more just future.
