In this presentation, Dr. Davis will guide participants through the Chicago Black Renaissance from the early to mid-20th century. The presentation will include a Q&A and an interactive component where audience members share their migration stories.
Things to Know:
Please arrive on campus by noon.
Once you arrive on campus, park in the visitors' section of Lot 1 on the Main campus. Take the connecting sidewalk to the main building (it is the largest) and enter to the right of the large IVCC letters. You will see an information desk on your left, and they can direct you to the student life space.
The main entrance is accessible. If you need accessible parking, this is the front lot to the right of the traffic circle.
